Our Story

We cannot begin to tell our story without acknowledging the influence that our grandma and our mother had in our passion for cooking and hosting. The concept of Casa Manioca, based in London, Ontario, first came up in a conversation between two sisters around the dining table. A couple of years of experimenting with various recipes went by which was invaluable for the innovative process as we came up with our own recipes for popular Brazilian snacks like cheese bread, chicken croquettes, mini-pies and sfeehas. This was an important step in the process to provide the homemade taste of Brazil with the gourmet touch.
